Although e-transfers are increasingly popular to pay employees and suppliers, checks are still used today. This program lets you create, print, and manage the checks you use to pay the employees of your company, and allows you to issue checks to federal taxes. It also has tutorials on how to customize your checks by adding your signature, your company logo, and so on.

Besides, it also lets you calculate the corresponding payroll taxes and tells you how to pay them through the US Electronic Federal Tax Payment System's website.

Although the program is advertised as being "for people with no accounting experience", the fact is that you need at least a minimum of knowledge on the subject how to use the software at its full potential. Other than that, the program is fairly easy to use. You only need to enter the required data on the blank spaces, and the software will make the corresponding calculations and will show a preview before printing the check.

That said, the program also has some drawbacks. An important one is that it is subscription-based; that is, you don't own the program, but you need to pay a fee each year for being able to use it. Also, if you want to print a check created with the shareware version, it will display a mark that will make it unusable.

You can use the shareware version for 30 days. If you like it and want to use it longer, then you will need to purchase a license.
